The monthly Engineers Without Borders - Puget Sound Professional Chapter general chapter meeting is a great way for new members and interested volunteers to meet other engineers, learn about our current projects, and find opportunities to get involved.
KiloWatts for Humanity [1] is a Seattle-based all volunteer, non-profit organization. Our mission is to improve peopele's lives by providing access to electricity and fostering the development of sustainable businesses. Our volunteers offer mentorship and resources to empower less economically developed communities for lasting change.
KiloWatts for Humanity is currently looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers for an electricity access project in rural Zambia. Interested? Come join us as we kick-off our next project! You'll learn about energy poverty, how KiloWatts for Humanity provides sustainable, transformative and empowering access to electricity, and how you can contribute to this great project.
