Fundraising Coordinator

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fundraising activities.
  • Coordinate with the Treasurer and project teams so that funds collected are banked and allocated in accordance with their purpose.
  • Communicate with past and potential donors on behalf of Chapter.
  • Hold and lead monthly fundraising meetings to assign members to lead specific activities or prepare for particular fundraising functions.
  • Assist and guide project-level fundraising efforts.
  • Initiate discussions with groups or organizations that can support fundraising initiatives (e.g., Rotary, Gates Foundation).
  • Develop network of contacts, organizations, groups and other resources for fundraising activities.
  • Manage donor list.
  • Work in conjunction with other Executive Committee members to broaden familiarity and knowledge of EWB-USA and the PSP Chapter.
  • Attend the monthly Executive Committee meeting and other chapter meetings as needed.
 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local business community and with key business leaders.
  • High-energy and drive.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others towards goals.
 

Time Commitment:

  • 8-10 hours per month on average, in addition to meeting attendance.
 

Service Term:

  • Two-year term (Jan 2024 - Dec 2025)
