November General Chapter Meeting - VETS CAFE!

November General Chapter Meeting - VETS CAFE!

Our general chapter meetings are open to new and current members. Please join us for the November general chapter meeting -- We'll share about an exciting new local program with the VETS CAFE!

The Community Engineering Corps (CEC) is the domestic branch of EWB-USA. While EWB's international programs are the most well-known, we recognize that there are many communities in need in the United States. For CEC programs, we provide pro-bono engineering consulting services for local communities. Unlike our international programs, we don't fund construction for CEC projects.

The VETS CAFE is a non-profit with a mission to support veterans and allies in acquiring skills that launch or refine careeers in conservation, agriculture, forestry, and ecological design. VETS CAFE was gifted a 120-acre farm, and they have asked our chapter to help with some infrastructure projects to get their programs up and running.

Our CEC partnership with the VETS CAFE is just beginning! We are looking for a project lead and electrical engineers for this exciting new project. If you'd like to learn more, please join us at the November general capter meeting!

If you would like to get involved but can't make the meeting, please email Sierra at president@ewbseattle.org.
